I love travel. I discovered this little fact about myself 4 years ago during a vacation to France. Before then I thought I didn't like to travel, in fact I considered myself a homebody. I never really ventured far. I love being home, I love hanging with my husband and kids in the livingroom; I appreciate the simple, everyday-ness of life, truly. But I have been bitten by the travel bug.
I don't travel terribly often, but when I do it's usually with the whole family and we enjoy it to the nth degree. So what you'll find here will be musings from our past vacations, the good, the bad and the indifferent. You'll also hear about my dreams and yearnings and plans for vacations yet to come and some helpful travel tips.
Based on the little German I have studied back in my school years, I understand a phone conversation between someone who is in a state of panic because of the McDonald Big Mac and his/her Doctor who tried to calm him/her down, and telling him/her to bring it/them over here, at his office probably because he wants to eat the Big Mac(s)... And the patient has already eaten it/them all!
Sorry I cannot be more accurate... but something like that, I think.
Dude: Doctor, I think I'm gonna die! I just ate two Big Macs!
Doctor: Don't worry, you'll die happy!
Or something like that.
Thanks for coming by to see my grizzly. Yes, there was a big plexiglass window between me and him. Made the lighting a little hard to deal with, but he was SO fun to photograph.
I'm a happily married, Christian, stay-at-home mom of two boys. I love to travel, write, eat and drink (in moderation). I'm a little crunchy, but not too much-maybe just crispy. I homeschool my biggest and cloth diaper my littlest. I go green where I can. I dream of becoming a successful children's book author and retiring to France, I guess time will tell. On my blogs you'll find information about and my opinions on travel destinations, good food and wine and all things child-rearing with the occasional product review or giveaway. I have two review blogs for books and movies. Although my movie review blog is shaping up to be a summertime project. Feel free to browse any and all of my blogs!

Thanks all for the input. At first we thought it was the Big Mac song but noticed the word "Doktor" and figured we were wrong.
Tricotine-nope, we don't own it. It was in the vacation apartment we rented .
Man. And I thought it said
"Doctor it hurts when I do this!"
"Then don't do that!"
When my son comes home from school at the end of the semester I'll ask him. If I remember. He would know.
