I love travel. I discovered this little fact about myself 4 years ago during a vacation to France. Before then I thought I didn't like to travel, in fact I considered myself a homebody. I never really ventured far. I love being home, I love hanging with my husband and kids in the livingroom; I appreciate the simple, everyday-ness of life, truly. But I have been bitten by the travel bug.
I don't travel terribly often, but when I do it's usually with the whole family and we enjoy it to the nth degree. So what you'll find here will be musings from our past vacations, the good, the bad and the indifferent. You'll also hear about my dreams and yearnings and plans for vacations yet to come and some helpful travel tips.
I didn't do as well as I'd hoped, but not awful given that I'm exhausted from the Christmas holiday :) I was finished after about 6 minutes, I couldn't think of anymore.
I only got to 42. Not great, but I suppose it's not horrible considering I haven't lived in the US in twenty years LOL.
By the way, I answered your menorah question in the comments of my post. The short answer is yes, they're menorahs. The old fashioned ones are candelabras, but they don't have to be :).
I'm a happily married, Christian, stay-at-home mom of two boys. I love to travel, write, eat and drink (in moderation). I'm a little crunchy, but not too much-maybe just crispy. I homeschool my biggest and cloth diaper my littlest. I go green where I can. I dream of becoming a successful children's book author and retiring to France, I guess time will tell. On my blogs you'll find information about and my opinions on travel destinations, good food and wine and all things child-rearing with the occasional product review or giveaway. I have two review blogs for books and movies. Although my movie review blog is shaping up to be a summertime project. Feel free to browse any and all of my blogs!
